Lentil Festival canceled

PULLMAN — The Lentil Festival in Pullman is canceled for a second year.

Pullman Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Marie Dymkoski talked about the decision on Tuesday at the Pullman chamber’s state of the city address.

Because of COVID-19 uncertainty, Dymkoski explained the chamber has not been able to plan for the annual August event, which requires 10-11 months of preparation.

Dymkoski said the chamber may hold a series of smaller events involving restaurants, retailers, and musicians to welcome Washington State University students back to Pullman for the fall semester....
