Whitman County back to Phase Three

OLYMPIA — Whitman County moved back to Phase Three on Thursday.

Gov. Jay Inslee announced the change on May 13.

Whitman County was one of three counties statewide that were dropped back to Phase Two in April.

In Phase Three, restaurants, bars, and gyms are allowed 50% capacity, compared to 25% in Phase Two.

The announcement stated indoor capacity stays at 50% for most events and activities until June 30, the date Inslee set to fully reopen Washington.

The governor said the reopening may happen sooner if 70% or more residents are vaccinated.
