Dusty News: May 20, 2021

Art and Colene Sager flew to LaPine, Ore., and spent the weekend with Don and Gaylene Manning. While there, the women attended a baby shower honoring their daughter and granddaughter, Hannah Flores. The July baby will be the first grandchild for Gaylene and the first great-grandchild for Colene.

Nine ladies from the Grandmothers’ Thrift Shop were guests at the home of Tom and Doreen Riedner where they had dinner, great conversation and then helped make 1,000 spice packets for the Homemade Chili that will go to people in need.

Gena Jones arrived from her home in Italy last week to spend time with her mother and brother, Fran and Bryan Jones.

Lisa and Ian DeNolfo, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, sister and brother-in-law of Diane Monson, have been in the area for 10 days. They taught Masters’ classes in vocal instruction at EWU and in Spokane for two days. The rest of the time was spent enjoying family, friends and Colfax.
