Two men in crash near Colfax died

COLFAX — Two people are dead following a crash on State Highway 26, 15 miles west of Colfax.

The Washington State Patrol reported the crash occurred at about 3:09 p.m. on June 2.

The white 1992 Chevrolet Lumina was heading east when it left the highway to the right side, rolled over twice, and stopped on its top.

The driver, Elijah C. Hernandez, 21, of Richland, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. Injured, he was airlifted to a Spokane hospital where he later died, according to the state patrol.
