Colfax names Top Dogs for April

COLFAX — Colfax High School’s “Top Dog” winners for April were announced.

The Top Dog program began this year to honor students excelling in each department for effort, attitude, hard work, and helping others. Teachers in each department nominate students and vote on a winner. For the character award, any staff member may nominate a student and the whole staff votes.

The program is for students in grades 9-12.

The Top Dogs are as follows:

• History: Senior Madisyn Jarosch

• Science: Senior Caden Noha

• CTE: Junior Cora Shindler

• Fine Arts: Sophomore Gene Gibler

• Math: Sophomore Tess Lewis

• Character: Junior Terry Spray

• Language: Freshman Tyler Menke

• Physical Education: Freshman Ariana Gibler
