Several programs set for Zoom online and Grab-and-Go
COLFAX - Whitman County Library's 2021 Summer Reading program is "Tails and Tales" and runs from June 14 to Aug. 31 for readers of all ages.
The library system is offering five $25 gift certificates to a local business, according to Sheri Miller, Whitman County Library associate director and youth services manager.
To earn prizes, children must read or be read to for 10 hours while teens need to read three books and complete three activities. Adults must read three books, complete three activities, or a combination of both.
To track reading and activities, the library offers a free online program called Beanstack. You can register your entire family online by visiting http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us/beanstack or downloading the Beanstack app.
