SPOKANE — Two Whitman County residents achieved academic recognition and two graduated from Whitworth College and Gonzaga in Spokane.
Logan Stanley, of LaCrosse, achieved Provost’s Honor Roll status for the spring 2021 semester. To be named, undergraduate students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.75 or better during the semester at Whitworth College.
Sara Whelchel, of Diamond, earned placement on the Gonzaga University President’s List for spring semester 2021. Students must earn a 3.85 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.
Adam Blakeley, of St. John, earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management at Gonzaga University.
Zoe Metzer, of Colfax, earned a bachelor’s degree in arts in psychology at Gonzaga University.
Whitworth is a private, liberal arts university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. The university has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students and offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
