Justice needs to be applied evenly

As the Pelosi-led Jan. 6th Commission gets underway it has become obvious that Justice in America is now corrupt and politicized. On one hand, we saw over 500 large and destructive riots which occurred in Democrat-run cities all across the United States during the summer of 2020. These riots caused billions of dollars of property damage, destroyed lives, and laid waste to entire communities. On the other hand, we have a single, large protest supporting Republican President Donald J Trump, which caused minor property damage to the U.S. Capitol.

The BLM and Antifa rioters who burned, looted, and largely destroyed their cities were released back into their communities on a perpetual rinse-and-repeat cycle. However, the Biden Justice Department and FBI are still hunting down Jan. 6 protesters. Over 450 Americans have been arrested and charged for their participation in events on that day. Around 50 of these — the number changes daily — are being held without bail in squalid third-world conditions in a Washington, D.C. jail.

Democrat approved rioters are simply released. No charges, no consequences. Some even call them “warriors for social justice.” Conservative, Trump-supporting demonstrators are prosecuted in a way that resembles a communist third world nation. Some protesters confined in D.C. Mayor Murial Bowser’s jail are being held in solitary confinement.

These political prisoners and their lawyers have not been able to access the 14,000 hours video evidence captured that day, which could prove their innocence. These prisoners have been denied bail by the corrupt D.C. judges hearing the cases, who have deemed them “a danger to the community.” They have been denied a speedy trial, because there is a huge backlog of cases preventing a timely trial.

Although most of the J6 prisoners have charges that amount to trespassing. These defendants could die in jail before trial.

Where are all the Democrats who howl for prison reform? They’re missing in action when the defendants are the wrong color or the wrong political class!

The hypocrisy of the Biden Justice Department is shameful, stunning, and un-American. Even Democrat Senators Elizabeth Warren and Dick Durban are uncomfortable with how our justice system is being misused! Republican Representatives Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Green, Louie Gohmert, Andy Biggs, Bob Good, and Paul Gosar were denied entry to the D.C. jail where the prisoners are being held, even though prison oversight and inspection is one of their duties as elected representatives.

For the J6 Protestors, their arrest, pre-trial detention, jail conditions, and delayed trial are the punishment. They are political prisoners receiving a politicized punishment. In the America I grew up in, defendants were innocent until proven guilty, and we did not punish the innocent.

The Biden Administration and Democrat politicians across America have destroyed that wonderful America. “Liberty and Justice for All” appears to be dead. It’s time for all Americans, regardless of political affiliation, to demand our Representatives and Senators act to end this gross miscarriage of justice and restore the promise of liberty and justice for all.
