Rosalia hosts Veterans Day ceremony

ROSALIA - A Veterans Day ceremony is offered at Rosalia's Veterans Park on Nov. 11.

Rosalia Mayor Lee Root opens the ceremony at 11 a.m.

Pastor Mike Hill is giving an invocation before the guest speaker, Pastor Mike Hill begins. Hill served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 22 years, according to organizer Pat Voge.

Veterans of Foreign War Rifle Team is participating and performing Taps.

Rosalia's Boy Scouts of America Troop #588 is presenting a flag ceremony to retire old flags. People can place tattered old flags in the Red Box on the porch at the Rosalia branch of the Whitman County Library.

"We will have patriotic music," stated Voge.
