PALOUSE — A library fundraiser is set with a walk, coffee and doughnuts, and other entertainment during the annual Palouse Turkey Leg.
The event is on Nov. 25, starting at 8 a.m.
“Community members walk (or run) laps on a downtown course, visiting with neighbors along the way. As always, expect a day of good cheer and fierce fundraising — where all proceeds and donations fund new books and programming in Palouse,” stated an organizer.
The Palouse Federated Church is distributing Choose Gratitude campaign signs and buttons. Participants have the opportunity to share what they are thankful for on the Choose Gratitude banner, such as Thanksgiving fun facts, talking about the library, and celebrating what people are thankful for as a community.
“Support the library, enjoy a free coffee and donut, and spend a crisp morning with your loved ones and your neighbors all at once,” stated organizers.
Donations can be mailed directly to the Palouse Library at PO BOX 168, Palouse, WA 99161 or dropped in the book drop out front.
