WSP conducts emphasis patrols

COLFAX — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is conducting emphasis patrols for speeding, driving too fast for conditions, distracted and impaired driving.

The extra patrols end on Nov. 28.

District 4 troopers in Spokane, Whitman, and Adams counties and District 6 troopers in Grant and Kittitas counties are taking part in the emphasis patrols “as Washington State University (WSU) students travel across the state for the Thanksgiving holiday break.”

People driving to and from WSU will see an increased state patrol presence on State Routes 26 and 195 as well as Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass....
