SJEL Eagles girls lose basketball game

ST. JOHN – The Wilbur-Creston Wildcats took down the St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse Eagles 57-27 in basketball on Dec. 3.

The girls started out strong keeping pace as the first quarter ended with the Wildcats leading by 1 point, 10-9. The Eagles stumbled in the second quarter scoring 8 to their opponent’s 17 and trailing at halftime 27-15. The scoring trend remained for the second half and ended with a final score of 57-27.

SJEL’s Olivia Kjack was the top Eagle scorer with 7 points, 2 baskets, 1 three-pointer, and 4 free throws. Kyra Holt added 6 points and Bailey Brown scored 5 points.
