Jacob Lee Kramer, of Colfax, died unexpectedly on February 7, 2022, at his home. He was 30. Jake was born March 26, 1991, in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in a large extended family near Kelso, Wash., with his parents, Kenneth and Sara Jo Burger Kramer and nine siblings.
Jake moved with the family to Colfax, Wash., in 2002. Following the 10th grade, Jake went into the Job Corps at Moses Lake, Washington where he completed his G.E.D. and received other valuable training from 2007-2009. He moved back home to Colfax and over the years he found work as a carpenter and landscaper.
He most enjoyed working with people. He formed many friendships in the area and was always ready to help a friend in need. He loved fishing and always had a special place in his heart for his dogs. He loved dogs. Jake was a member of the Colfax Eagles.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth Kramer; and by his siblings, Elizabeth Marie Kramer Daughtery, Dixie Ann Nelson, Jackie J. Wines, Sharon Gayle Miller, Kristin Lichtefeld, Kimberly Kramer, Melanie Kramer, Daniel Adam Kramer, and Michael John Kramer, Chrissy Vickers; he also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and a very special family friend, Leslie Rounds. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sara, in 2017.
The family is planning a celebration of life for Saturday, Feb., 26, at 1:00 PM at the Steptoe Community Church. Pastor Hal Whitman will officiate.
