Series: News Briefs | Story 201

PULLMAN – The Port of Whitman County will accept public comment March 24 on a proposal to sell an undeveloped lot within Pullman Industrial Park to Merry Cellars Winery.

“Merry Cellars Winery proposed purchasing Lot 9, adjacent to its current facility in Henley Court, for $345,000,” port officials said in a report. “The proposed use is development of a 16,000 square-foot building for wine production, aging, storage and sales.”

To declare the land surplus, the port is required to have a public hearing and receive comments. That hearing is at 10:30 a.m. March 24 in-person at the port’s Colfax office at 302 N. Mill Street, and online at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86590903284.

The land is Lot 9 within the Pullman Industrial Park Subdivision 2, southeast of the port-owned Henley Court facility at 1300 N.E. Henley Court.
