Today, Thursday, March 17, will bring kids and families of all ages to the library for a St. Patrick's Day read. Interim and youth services director Sheri Miller is excited for the upcoming story time.
The event "encourages literacy and teaches pre-reading skills," she said. "We play songs, finger plays, and have many activities. It's a great opportunity for kids to make friends. It's not just sitting around and listening to stories. It's an engagement with stories," Miller said.
Story Time is from 10-10:30 a.m. Thursdays for youth younger than 5. The program offers in-person and pick-up learning packets.
