Students at Tekoa Elementary School raised $4,902 for the American Heart Association during a recent fundraiser.
As a reward, students got to hit Superintendent John Cordell with a pie in the face for raising more than $50.
They were also rewarded with the change to hit counselor Jena Ayers with Silly String if they raised more than $35. according to the Tekoa School District. Cordell and Ayers are pictured at right following the pie pummelling.
