Track canceled, but other sports on tap

COLFAX — Wintry conditions prompted the cancelation of Tuesday's track meet at the high school here. But other sports this week are expected to continue as planned.

And the Bulldogs will be on the road for all of them.

The girls fastpitch softball and boys baseball teams will play in Asotin today, Tuesday, April 12.

Baseball and junior-varsity softball games will take place at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The varsity softball team plays at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

On Wednesday, the softball and baseball teams travel to Chewelah to take on the Jenkins Cougars.

Games are 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The golf team will travel to Tekoa on Thursday, for a match scheduled for 2 p.m.

On Friday, the junior-varsity and varsity baseball teams travel to Kettle Falls to take on the NE2B-North Bulldogs in doubleheaders.

Games are at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

On Saturday, the local Bulldogs will head to Cheney for a 10 a.m. track meet.

Meanwhile, the junior-varsity baseball team will go to Spokane Valley to play a doubleheader at West Valley High School. Games are at noon and 2 p.m.

The local sports week wraps up with softball back at Kettle Falls.

The local Bulldogs take on the northern Bulldogs in a doubleheader with games at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

UPDATE: On Thursday morning, the Tekoa golf match was canceled due to snowfall.
