Serving Whitman County since 1877
Nov. 6, 1960, to April 22, 2022
Daniel Joseph Wagner, beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather, passed away at his home in Colfax on April 22, 2022, with his family at his side.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Vicki; children, Nick and Tiffany; grandchildren, Link and Lexi; sister, Theresa; brother-in-law, Elio Longobardi; and sister-in-law, Nicole French and her family
Dan was born Nov. 6, 1960. His early years were spent in Coulee Dam, Wash. The family moved to Riverside, Calif., in 1972 and Dan came to adulthood there, marrying Vicki, raising his family and embarking on his 25-year career as a fire marshal for the Riverside County Fire Department. He retired in 2015, and in 2016 moved to Colfax.
He was very proud of his role in the Fire Department and his service to his community. He had a keen interest in history; especially that of World War II and his father's experiences at Pearl Harbor and beyond. His family was always the center of his life; he dedicated his time to his wife, children and grandchildren. We will miss his dry sense of humor and his loving attention to the details of our lives.
There will be a private family burial in Colfax on Friday, April 29, 2022.
Corbeill Funeral Home of Colfax, Wash., is caring for the family. Online condolences may be made at http://www.corbeillfuneralhomes.com.
