Three performances staged at Empire Theatre
TEKOA - Local third- through sixth-grade students performed their rendition of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" during three shows at the Empire Theatre.
Avery Blank played Belle and Ryker French portrayed the prince/beast.
Others in the troupe included Bayler Chase, LeFou; Zeke Sanchez, Gaston; Rylan Carey, Maurice; Ruby Ramirez, Cogsworth; Ady Carren, Lumiere; Aislinn Gamble, Babette; Ella Arthur, Mrs. Pots; Makayla Taufen, Chip; Alex Klun, Prince in intro; Xzaiver Anderson, Bookseller; Braydee Greenwalt, Madame de la Grande Bouche; Violet Smith, Enchantress; Tyson Payne, Monsieru d'Arque; Violet Smith and Summer Hill, Forks.
Silly girls were played by Macie Smith, Emma Carren, Aleah McElderry, Elayna Thomas, Maggie Tayllor and Olivia Nocker.
Spoons were played by Ana Larsen, Nissi Bone, Lilly Hoffman and Margot Burnett. Knives were portrayed by Braxton Monroy, Carsten Haeg and Mila Allen.
Degan Himes, Fisher Whan, Rosalynn Deardorff, Maria Garcia and Lucian Woosley played plates.
Matthew Thomas was Salt and Kyle Taufen was Pepper.
Elsie Sczenski and Brea-Lynn Larsen portrayed Gargoyles.
The crew included Cale Haeg, Zander Winn, Ty Weldy, Charlie Chase, Dominick Kager, Quincy Lehn and Clayton Orr.
The narrators were Summer Hill, Ty Weldy, Reyson Ramirez, Cale Haeg, Matthew Thomas and Brianna Wheeler.
