Nicole Pick Ropeter left this earthly world on Friday, July 22, 2022. She was 40 when she transitioned into eternity. Nicole illuminated wherever she went and whomever she embraced, we are all better for having loved her.
Nicole was born Oct. 1, 1981. She was the second of six children to bless the home of Michael and Mary Susan Pick. Her siblings all describe her as a bright and colorful person with a contagious smile and a witty sense of humor. She had an artistic flair and enjoyed painting.
Nicole graduated from Woodland Park High School in Colorado in 2000. She attended PIMA Medical Institute and received her associate's degree as a dental assistant and built her career one smile at a time. She was working at Mint Condition Dental in Colfax where her work ethic was legendary.
There was nothing Nicole was prouder of than being the mother to her two sons; Jacob and Zayden. Spending time with her sons brought her the most joy in her life. Nicole was the one who brought the light into so many lives, where her sons brought the light into hers.
Nicole had a way of making everyone around her smile. She will be missed by many in the community and most especially by her family. She is survived by her loving sons of whom she was so proud, Jacob and Zayden Ropeter; parents, Michael and Mary Susan Pick; siblings that she dearly loved, Michael Pick Jr., Zachary Pick, Zephaniah Pick, Micah Armstrong and Hannah Pick; as well as nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and dear aunt.
Nicole will be laid to rest in a private setting in St. John Cemetery. On-line condolences may be left on her page at http://www.corbeillfuneralhomes.com
