Janice Farbo Baird

Janice Farbo Baird, 91, of Cheney, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 in Cheney, WA.

A Celebration of Life will be from 2-5 on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Bill’s home at Badger Lake, 34129 Aztec Lane, Cheney, WA.

Jan was born in Boise, Idaho to Howard and Opal Baldwin on December 31, 1930. She attended school in Emmett, Idaho. She worked for many years as Purchasing Agent for J E Love Company in Garfield, WA and Washington State University in Pullman, WA. After retirement from WSU, she enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Arizona and summers in the Northwest. Until recent years and due to health issues, she loved to play golf whenever and wherever she could.

Jan is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Opal Baldwin, Emmett, ID, her sister Darlene Saxon, Colonial Heights, VA, grandson, Heath Cofield, Garfield, WA.

Jan is survived by her children, Bill and Donna Cofield, Cheney, WA, Deborah Cofield and Tom Hanson, Spokane Valley, and Cathy and Jay Miller, Hope, Idaho, eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
