Women's Guild hosts annual Non-Profit Night

PULLMAN – The Pullman Regional Hospital women’s Leadership Guild is hosting its annual Non-Profit Night on Thursday, Sept. 8 at the WSU Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center, at 6 p.m.

Seven non-profit agencies have applied for $2,000 in grant funding from the women’s Leadership Guild and will each present their mission and project requests for funding. Women’s Leadership Guild members will vote to award funding for the 2022-23 grant cycle, the guild has $10,000 in grant funding available.

Established in Jan. 2015, the guild empowers regional non-profit agencies in support of women’s and children’s health and Pullman Regional Hospital’s highest needs through membership contribution. To date, the guild has raised and gifted more than $143,750.

Everyone is welcome to attend the non-profit night to learn more about the guild. The guild is presenting to local non-profit agencies, including Lauren McCluskey Foundation, Palouse Discovery Science Center, Palouse School Food Pantry, United Way of Whitman County Dolly parton Imagination Library, Willow Center for Grieving Children, WSU Psychology of Physical Activity Lab, and YMCA of the Palouse.

The 41 member guild is chaired by Karen Davis-Morris, and includes board members Ginger Flynn, Vicki Jahns, Susie Skavdahl, and Stacey Swift.
