Colfax Best Western Inn wins award

COLFAX - The Best Western Wheatland Inn in Colfax just received Best Western's M.K. Guertin Award for the second year in a row.

The award is given to BW properties who have a Guest Satisfaction Survey Score for "Overall Service" in the top 10% of eligible properties. Have achieved an outstanding rating in the top 5% on their most recent assessment, and other internal requirements that need to be met in order to achieve the award.

"We won it last year for the first time, and this is our second time in a row," said Director of Sales and Marketing Caleb A. Cox.

District 2 spans the states of AK, WA, OR, MT, ND, SD, as well as Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

"It is pretty rare to get it, but especially to get it two years in a row," said Cox, "District 2 is historically the best district, and we are at the top of that district. There are 303 properties in district 2" said Cox.

Best Western Inn was one of seven BW hotels in District 2 to receive the award this year. In district 2 the 303 properties include BW, BW Plus, and BW Premier.

In 2018, the Wheatland Inn completed its most recent top-to-bottom remodel and update, which included new flooring, bedding, furniture, lighting and more.
