A hybrid poll-site and mail-in election for a board seat on the Palouse Conservation District will be held on January 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM PST until 2:00 PM PST at 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., Pullman, WA 99163 and also from 4:30 PM PST until 8:30 PM PST at Dahmen Barn 419 N Pkwy, Uniontown, WA 99179. Registered voters who reside within the Conservation District boundary are eligible to vote. The last day and time that an eligible voter can request a ballot from the District is January 10, 2023 at 8:00 PM PST. Ballots can be requested from Palouse Conservation District, Rachel Magers, 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., Ste H, Pullman, WA 99163, 509-553-3289 or the ballot request link online at PalouseCD.org. If a voter is returning a ballot by mail, the voter must account for the time it will take for the ballot to be returned to the district by mail. Ballots returned by mail must be post-marked no later than Election Day January 31, 2023. Ballots returned by other means must be returned to 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., Ste H, Pullman WA 99163 no later than 2:00 PM PST on Election Day, January 31, 2023 or to the polling site at Dahmen Barn 419 N Pkwy, Uniontown, WA 99179 no later than 8:30 PM PST on Election Day, January 31, 2023. Candidates must be registered voters residing in the conservation district. Candidates are required to be landowners or operators of a farm, based on the current composition of the District board of supervisors. The filing deadline for candidates to file their candidate required information is 4:00 PM PST, Thursday, December 29, 2022. Interested candidates must file their candidate required information at the following location 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., Suite H, Pullman, WA 99163, no later than 4:00 PM PST.
