District Court filings

COLFAX — Whitman County District Court reported the following criminal conviction sentences from Dec. 20 to Dec. 27:

• Wesley S. Bradburn was charged with driving with license suspended in the 3rd degree. The defendant is sentenced to 90 days in jail, and a fine of $1000 with $1000 suspended. The defendant shall pay to the clerk of the court a total of $43 in fines. Defendant must have no criminal violations of law, drive a motor vehicle without a valid license and proof of insurance. The defendant shall contact the probation office within 7 days of the order to schedule intake appointment, and keep probation advised of current address. The defendant must have unsupervised probation for 24 months. Probation will be terminated upon reinstatement of the defendant’s driver license.

• Tobias Jones was charged with displaying and possessing a fraudulent or fictitious ID. The defendant has a deferred sentence, 30 suspended days with a total of $343 in fines. $300 of this total is converted to community service at the rate of $15 an hour which must be completed by April, 30, 2023. The defendant must not have any criminal violations of law. Supervised probation for 6 months, and unsupervised probation as soon as all essential requirements of the sentence have been completed and if payment of fines and costs is completed. The defendant has a monthly probation fee unless the fee is reduced by the probation department. Defendant must complete a DUI victim’s impact panel within 3 months, and not possess or use alcohol, and marijuana. The defendant must abstain from alcohol and marijuana and UA requirement shall terminate upon attaining 21 years of age and completion of DUI Impact Panel.
