COLFAX – The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from Dec. 20 to Dec. 26:

Dec. 20

1:50 a.m.- SR 195 milepost 33, Colfax. Deputy responded to a report of a one vehicle slide off.

7:30 a.m.- Broadway Street and Union Street, Colton. Deputy assisted WSP with a one vehicle slide off.

8:06 a.m.- South Margin Street, St. John. Deputy received an APS referral.

8:38 a.m.- Broadway Street, Colton. Deputy received a report of a subject going door to door asking to use the WIFI. Deputy responded, and was unable to locate the subject.

3:57 p.m.- South Josephine Avenue, Rosalia. Deputy responded to a welfare check.

Dec. 21

9:42 a.m.- North Mill Street, Whitman County Sheriff, Colfax. Deputy requested a case number for other law enforcement calls.

1:02 p.m.- Clear Creek Road, Palouse. Deputy received a report of three semi hay trucks stuck in the road, the road department responded and sanded the roadway.

2:09 p.m.- Palouse Cove Road, Palouse. Deputy responded to a report of a one vehicle slide off.

3:02 p.m.- Broadway Street, Colton. Deputy received a report of a damaged fence, the fence was damaged in a vehicle accident investigated by WSP.

4:08 p.m.- SR 272 and Stan Willcox Road, Palouse. Deputy received a report of an unknown vehicle accident, it was determined to be a one vehicle slide off that was reported earlier in the day.

6:02 p.m.- Fulfs Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the snow.

11:51 p.m.- Pullman Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a report of a possible burglary.

Dec. 22

5:18 a.m.- Pullman Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance.

9:00 a.m.- 3rd Street, Endicott. Deputy responded to a report of a dog that had been tied up outside for 3 days.

9:14 a.m.- Central Ferry Road, Pomeroy. Deputy received a request for a welfare check.

9:35 a.m.- Pullman Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy received a report of a subject walking along the roadway.

9:50 a.m.- Pullman Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy received a report of a suspicious circumstance, and contacted the reporting party.

12:43 p.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. Deputy arrested Michael Joseph Keller, 48, on a felony warrant.

12:51 p.m.- North D Street, Albion. Deputy responded to a welfare check.

5:42 p.m.- Crumbaker Road, Colfax. Deputy responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the snow.

Dec. 23

7:57 a.m.- Pine City Malden Road, Rosalia. Deputy responded to a report of an abandoned disabled vehicle, which was tagged for removal.

9:14 a.m.- Clear Creek Road, Palouse. Deputy responded to a fraud report.

3:28 p.m.- SR 27 milepost 22, Garfield. WSP, Fire, and EMS responded to a one vehicle roll over. No patients were transported.

5:02 p.m.- SR 195 milepost 36, Colfax. Deputy responded to a disabled vehicle.

11:04 p.m.- Southeast Bishop Boulevard and Southeast Klemgard Avenue, Pullman. Deputy requested a case for a traffic violation.

11:06 p.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to a 911 call, and determined there was no emergency.

11:08 p.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to an altercation between two residents.

11:40 p.m.- Odonnell Road and Pullman Airport Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a disabled vehicle.

Dec. 24

12:14 a.m.- Odonnell Road and Pullman Airport Road, Pullman. Deputy requested a case for a disabled vehicle.

9:11 a.m.- East 5th Street, LaCrosse. Deputy responded to a juvenile problem, and contacted all involved parties.

10:28 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to a 911 call, and determined there was no emergency.

10:55 a.m.- South Hillcrest Drive, Colfax. Deputy responded to assist the Colfax PD with a case of disorderly conduct.

1:48 p.m.- East Canyon Street, Colfax. Deputy responded to assist the Colfax PD.

4:07 p.m.- Palouse Cove Road and Ringo Road, Palouse. Deputy responded to a disabled vehicle.

4:36 p.m.- Palouse Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a 911 call, and determined there was no emergency.

5:12 p.m.- Morrow Street, Winona. Deputy responded to a welfare check, the subjects were contacted and were fine.

Dec. 25

2:00 a.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. Deputy requested a case for failing to register.

8:33 a.m.- Endicott Road and Morley Road, Colfax. Deputy responded to a one vehicle slide off.

9:13 a.m.- Colfax Airport Road, Colfax. Deputy responded to a one vehicle slide off.

5:11 p.m.- East Nob Hill Street, St. John. Deputy responded to a civil matter.

8:57 p.m.- North Cedar Street, Colfax. Deputy responded to a report of fireworks in the area.

Dec. 26

12:30 a.m.- 26068 Wawawai Road, Nisqually John Landing, Clarkston. Deputy responded to a report of a subject yelling in the area.

1:27 a.m.- South Grand Avenue, Pullman. Deputy responded to assist the Pullman PD.

2:15 a.m.- Pullman Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a domestic dispute, and determined the altercation was verbal only.

10:07 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to a 911 call, and determined there was no emergency.

4:02 p.m.- Garfield Farmington Road, Farmington. Deputy responded to a report of standing water on the roadway, and the road department was contacted.
