Nevonna Mae Rodrick, 81, of Dayton, Wash., passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on January 14, 2023, after losing a valiant battle with cancer.
Nevonna was born February 23, 1941, to Leonard and Elva Rose (Page) Koepp in Dayton, Wash. Nevonna went to elementary school in Dayton, but then moved to Lind, Wash., where she graduated from Lind High School in 1960.
She married Frank "Sonny" Rodrick in Lewiston, Idaho, on November 23, 1960. Nevonna and Sonny went on to have five children – Robin, Richard, Loren, Tracy and Eric. She had seven grandchildren – Tiffany Struthers, Trevor Struthers, Jesse Rodrick, Ashlee Bradshaw, Jordan Lupfer, Michael Rodrick and Emily Rodrick; and four great-grandchildren – Archer, Hazel, Austen, and Bodie.
After retiring from the Dayton Hospital, Nevonna spent her time doing what she loved – spending time with her family and friends, reading, knitting, and helping others.
Nevonna was predeceased by Sonny Rodrick, Richard Rodrick, Leonard Koepp and Elva Rosa (Page) Koepp. She is survived by her sister Lorraine (Koepp) Wallace, her two daughters, Robin Thomas and Tracy Rodrick, and her two sons Loren Rodrick and Eric Rodrick.
Graveside services and a Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring – date TBD.
