Valentine's festivities in Colfax

Multiple events in Colfax to make the day special

COLFAX—There are several Valentines Day festivities planned for Colfax.

The Whitman County Library is hosting an adults Galentine’s craft Monday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m.

Participants will create a unique heart made up of wood, nails, and string. All attendees will be entered into the prize drawing for a special holiday prize donated by Red Arrow Vintage. There is the opportunity to receive extra entries if participants can correctly answer Valentine’s themed trivia questions throughout the event.

The Colfax branch is hosting Blind Date With A Book all February.

Participants will be able to read the hints of books in the window, choose their favorite, checkout the book, unwrap it and read it. Those who participate will be entered to win a $25 coffee date to SHOTZ Coffee, Colfax’s newest business.

The First Baptist Church, 200 North Mill Street, is hosting a parents night out Feb. 14 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Parents can go on a date, and the Church will babysit their children. Children ages 12 and under will have dinner, games, crafts, and more.

The Coco Bee, located at 103 South Main Street, is hosting a Galentine’s Night Out, Saturday Feb. 11. As well as a Valentines Date night out for two on Valentines Day, Feb. 14.

Serfes, 212 North Main Street, will have a special Valentine’s Day dinner Tuesday, Feb. 14. by reservation only.
