Harold "Lucky" Myrick passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2023. He was born August 15, 1936 in WallaWalla to William Ernst Myrick and Bernice Myrick. He was 3rd youngest of 10 children. He married Joan Brink on June 26, 1960. They have three sons, Mike, Rich and Rob.
Lucky loved fishing, hunting, horses and rodeo. He was a "jack of all trades", master of many. In 1968 he moved the family to Graham, Washington where he was employed in the construction trade as a carpenter and plumber for many years.
In 1998 Lucky and Joan moved back to Eastern Washington, making their home on Little Alkali Flat, Joan's childhood home. He opened The Sharpening Shop in LaCrosse, later moving it home to his shop. He became interested in lapidary as a hobby and eventually they started making beautiful jewelry, being vendors at craft shows for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. He is survived by his wife, Joan, at the home, Mike, Tacoma, Richard, Moses Lake, and Robert, Dusty Washington, six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
As per his wishes there will be no formal services. A memorial will be held later at the family home.
