Financial reimbursement available for growers

PALOUSE— Palouse Conservation District has financial reimbursement available for interested growers of seeding cover crops this spring or fall.

Eligible growers must have farmed within Whitman County, and plant a minimum of 10 acres for three years, confirmed Conservation Coordinator Tami Stubbs.

The funds are intended to offset the cost of cover crop seeding, and are available on a first-served basis until gone....
