Avista Utilities to check power pole conditions near Tekoa

TEKOA — Survey work of power poles outside the city will begin sometime in March and last through April.

VentureSum, an Avista-authorized contractor, will conduct inspections. They will be easily recognizable by their bright yellow VentureSum safety vests and identification badges.

VentureSum will be parked with signs along roadways with white SUVs.

The company started to document and survey products in January 2023. Avista’s power poles use third-party cables attached to phone, fiber, or cable television.
