COLFAX — Whitman County District Court reported the following criminal conviction sentences from March 23:

• Santiago Morales Pimientia, was found guilty of reckless driving. Therefore the defendant is sentenced to 364 days of jail, 363 suspended, and a fine of $1,000, with $500 suspended. The defendant must serve 1 day in jail, and has a total of $1,269.42 in fines due by Jan. 31, 2025. Defendant may perform community service in lieu of $500 of fines to be credited at the rate of $16 an hour approved by the probation office. Community service must be completed by Aug. 31, 2023. No criminal violation of law or alcohol related infractions. Defendant must have supervised probation for 24 months, unspervised for last 12 months if all essential requirements of the sentence have been completed. The defendant must obtain an expanded alcohol assessment, and file a copy by April 28, 2023. Defendant must attend DUI Victim Impact panel within 3 months, and defendant’s privilege to drive is suspended for 30 days to be set by Wash. Dept of Licensing. Defendant may petition for early termination of probation after 12 months and after successful completion of all terms of sentence.

• Jason Silva-Farias, was found guilty of DUI. Therefore the defendant is sentenced to 364 days of jail, 363 suspended, and a fine of $990.50. Defendant must serve 1 day in jail. Unsuspended jail of 1 day may be converted to 15 days EHM, which may be done out of county at defendant’s expense. The defendant owes a total of $1,333.50 in fines, due by Jan. 31, 2025. Defendant may perfrom community service in lieu of $990.50 of fines to be credited at the rate of $16 an hour. Community service must be completed by Dec. 31, 2023. Defendant must have supervised probation for 24 months, and obtain an expanded alcohol assessment by April 28, 2023. Defendant must attend DUI Victim Impact Panel within 3 months. Defendant shall be granted a dollar-for-dollar credit applied to fines for any out-of-pocket expenses spent for evaluation, any treatment and/or VIP. Defendant may petition for early termination of probation after 12 months and after successful completion of all terms of sentence.

• Thomas Woltering, was found guilty of DUI. Therefore the defendant is sentenced to 364 days of jail, 362 suspended, and a fine of $1,245.50. Defendant must serve a total of 2 days in jail. Defendant has a total of $1,888.50. Defendant may perform community service in lieu of $1,245.50 of fines to be credited at the rate of $16 an hour, approved by probation department. Community service must be completed by Dec. 31, 2023. Defendant must have supervised probation for 24 months. Defendant must obtain an expanded alcohol assessment, and file a copy of the evalution by April 28, 2023. Must begin any recommended treeatment within 30 days. Attend DUI Victim Impact Panel within 3 months. Defendant’s privilege to drive in the State of Washington shall be suspended for 1 year to be set by Wash Dept. Of Licensing. Restitution Hearing scheduled for June 8, 2023 at 9 a.m. if necessary. Defendant shall be granted a dollar-fordollar credit applied to fines for any out-of-pocket expenses spent for evaluation, any treatment and/or VIP.

• Jason Higheagle, was found guilty of DUI. Therefore the defnednt is sentenced to 364 days of jail, with 363 days suspended, and a fine of $995.50. Must serve a total of 1 day in jail. Jail shall be arranged by the probation department and completed by defendant within 60 days. Defendant has a total of $1,441.83 in fines. Defendant may perform community service in lieu of $995.50 of fines to be credited at the rate of $16 an hour, approved in advance by the probation department. Community service must be completed by Aug. 31, 2023. Defendant must have supervised probation for 24 months, unsupervised for last 12 months if all essential requirements of the sentence have been completed. Defendant must obtain an expanded alcohol assessment from an approved agency, and file by April 28, 2023. Must begin an recommended substance use disorder treatment within 30 days, with filed proof. Attend DUI Victim Impact Panel within 3 months. Defendant may petition for early termination of probation after 12 months and after successful completion of all terms of the sentence.

• Rhiannon Vodopich, was found guilty of criminal trespass in the first degree. Therefore, the defendant is sentenced to 60 days of jail, 60 suspended, and a fine of $500, $500 suspended. The defendant has a total of $343 in fine, $300 can be converted to community service at the rate of $16 an hour to be completed by June 30, 2023. Defendant must have supervised probation for 12 months, unsupervised probation for last 6 months if all essential requirements of the sentence have been completed and if payment of fines/costs is current. Defendant must obtain an alcohol/drug evalution within 45 days. Defendant must not use or posess alcohol or marijuana. Defendant may use and possess alcohol and UA requirements will end after evaluation and treatment have been completed and she turns 21 years old. Defendant may earn up to 5 hours community service credit by attending any DUI Court program in any jursidiction.

• Jenny Stipe, was found guilty of theft in the third degree. Therefore the defendant is sentenced to 30 days of jail, 28 suspended. Defendant must must serve 2 days in jail. Defendant has supervised probation for 12 months, unsupervised after 6 months and all essential requirements of the sentence have been completed. Defendant must attend a theft prevention course, and begin within 45 days with filed proof of enrollement and completion. 2 days jail may be convertible to 24 hours community service within the next 3 months, no less than 8 hours each month. If defendant has not submitted minimum hours of community service on or before the last business day of the month, she shall report to jail by noon on the first business day of the month starting in April.

• Kenneth Himes, was found guilty of Theft in the third degree. Therefore the defendant is sentenced to 364 days of jail, 354 suspended. The Defendant will serve a total of 10 days in jail, with credit for 1 day served. Defendant has supervised probation for 12 months, unsupervised as soon as all essential requirements of the sentence have been completed. 9 days jail may be convertible to 45 hours community service within the next 6 months, no less than 7.5 hours each month. If defendant has not submitted minimum hours of community service on or before the last business day of the month, he shall report to jail by noon on the first business day of the month starting April.

• James Bober, was found guilty of DWLS in the third degree. Therefore, the defendant is sentenced to 90 days of jail, 89 suspended. Defendant will serve a total of 1 day in jail, with credit for 1 day served. Defendant must have no criminal violation of law, and will not drive a motor vehicle without a valid license and proof of insurance. The defendant has unsuperforvised probation for 24 months, to terminate upon reinstatement of license.

• Daniel Rouhana, was found guilty of reckless driving. Therefore the defendant is sentenced to 364 days of jail, 332 days suspended, and a fine of $5,000, $4,000 suspended. The defendant will serve 32 days in jail with credit for 2 days served, and unsuspened jail of 30 days. Fines totalling $1,643, due by Feb. 28, 2025. Defendant may perform community service in lieu of $1,000, to be credited at the rate of $16 an hour and approved by the probation department. Community service to be completed by Aug. 31, 2023. Supervised probation for 24 months, unsupervised for last 6 months if all essential requirements of the sentence habe been completed. Obtain an expanded alcohol assessment, with filed copy by April, 14, 2023. Begin any recommended substance use disorder treatment or education within 30 days, with filed proof. Attend DUI Victim impact Panel within 3 months. Defendant shall perform 240.00 hours of community service. Defendant’s privilege to drive shall be suspended for 30 days. Defendant shall meet with probation and discuss the mental health component to his ongoing treatment plan. Defendant shall comply with all recommended mental health treatment. A review hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Wednesday April 19, 2023 and every third Wednesday of each month following. If defendant is in complete compliance with probation, he will not be required to appear and jail will be suspended. Any noncompliance shall result in imposition of suspended jail.
