Whitman County Realtor Scholarships

COLFAX — The Whitman County Association of REALTORS offers this year two $1,000 scholarship opportunities.

The Association annually offers high school seniors Washington State University-bound $1,000 and has added another $1,000 scholarship award opportunity for seniors enrolled full-time in a Trade School.

Eligible students must be accepted to WSU or a Trade School this fall, provide a copy of their acceptance letter, and have a letter of recommendation from a school official or person they have known for at least two years who is not a relative.

Students must complete the application, provide a copy of their transcript, and a list or resume of activities and interests in which they participate within the community and school.

Applicants must also write an essay on their current educational goals and the challenges they foresee.

Judges will choose based on the completeness of the applicant’s application, academic achievements, needs, community involvement, and ability to articulate their interests and express themselves.
