Judy Ann Roberts

Judy Ann Roberts, 74, a resident of Colfax, Wash., passed away on May 2, 2023, at Pullman Care in Pullman, Wash.

Judy was born on March 6, 1949, at Moscow, Idaho, to George and DeEtte (Jones) McCleerey. She attended the Potlatch Schools and graduated from the Potlatch High School.

She married her High School sweetheart Tony Roberts on March 23, 1968. She then attended the Lewis and Clark Normal School while Tony was serving in Vietnam.

The couple later made their home in Colfax, Wash. Judy was active volunteer with local JayCee's, lady F.O.E., Junior Miss, and pyrotechnics (fire work shows).

Judy was employed at the Whitman County Health Dept. for several years and retired as the Deputy Registrar in 2014.

She enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, reading, putting together crazy puzzles, music, red tulips, red roses, watching Jeopardy, rendezvousing with our small business Mountaintop Trading Company and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Tony Roberts, Colfax, Wash., one daughter, Cassandra Roberts, Weippe, Idaho, one son, Christopher Roberts, LaCrosse, Wash., two sisters, Jeanne Posey and Joanne Hemmelman, Potlatch, Idaho.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, with a potluck dinner for friends and family at 6296 Highway 95 N., Potlatch, Idaho, from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Please bring lawn chairs and a dish for the potluck and your own beverages.
