Dimond Foundation donates over $1 million

PULLMAN — The Dimond Family Foundation has donated a generous $1.5 million to Washington State University to support the construction of the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture’s Schweitzer Engineering Hall for the Pullman campus.

The Dimond Family Foundation was created by Navin and Rita Dimond, the founders of Stonebridge companies, and daughters Ashley and Sonja.

The Stonebridge Hotel is a top leading hospitality company in the nation, featuring a portfolio of around 60 hotels across the United States of America under four brands: Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and Four Seasons.

Navin is a WSU graduate from the class of 1985. In 2022, Navin was inducted into the WSU Carson College of Business’ School of Hospitality Business Management Hall of Fame.

In the new building will be an auditorium, which will be named the Dimond auditorium, after the Dimond family and the foundation, providing the donation to help construct the new building.
