Gladys Edgerton

Mom left us to join the lord, her loving husband Carl and son Christopher, family members and friends who proceeded her in heaven.

She was born in Lancaster, Wash., on a farm to Chris and Laura Oswald on Dec. 12, 1916. She had one sister Verna. Gladys grew up in Whitman County and then moved to Spokane where she met her husband Carl Edgerton Jr.

Gladys and Carl were married in 1950. Together, they had five children, Yvonne, Carmen, Carl, Christopher and Carlita.

Gladys was proceeded in death by her husband Carl and son Christopher. She leaves behind daugters Yvonne (Don) Morse, Chewelah, Wash., and Carlita Rasmussen, of Colfax, Wash .; sons Carmen (Nicholette) Edgerton, of Everette, Wash., and Carl (Malinda) Edgerton, of Spokane, Wash .; several grand children and great-grand children. Gladys also leaves behind numerous friends who she loved and cared about, too many to mention in her walk through life, all who knew her.

Gladys was a member of the Church of the Nazerene.

Graveside service will be at the Riverside Cemetary, 508 N. Gov. Way in Spokane, Wash., August 18 at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Don Moore will be officiating.

A Celebration of Gladys Life will be in the future at a later date.
