Colfax native goes for Masters at Johns Hopkins University

COLFAX — Born and raised in Colfax, Christopher Koenig, 25, was inspired by multiple teachers at Colfax High School and his mother to pursue his passion for studying Chemistry, going on to get his Master’s in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at John’s Hopkin’s University in Baltimore.

Koenig graduated from Colfax in 2016, getting his undergraduate degree in health studies with a minor in Chemistry and graduating in 2021.
