PALOUSE — With Palouse’s annual Palouse Days approaching next month, Saturday, September 16, Palouse is seeking vendors, businesses, and nonprofit organizations to apply and participate in the celebration.
The deadline to be included in print advertising was Wednesday, August 16, and the application for space closes Friday, September 8. There is no registration or booth fee, and vendors get all proceeds.
Two options exist on the application; the first is during a Main Street promenade activity scheduled during the day, including a 30-minute to 6-hour community or youth activity.
The activities will occur in Main Street’s heart from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., after the parade at 10 a.m.
Applicants must provide a title and description of their activity for advertising and supply all activity materials unless arranged beforehand. There are no activities for unattended children under the age of 10.
The second option for applicants is the Main Street vendor booth along the sidewalk.
For the second option, vendors must set up between 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, and unloading vehicles must be off Main Street by 9 a.m. for the street to close.
Participants vending will need to supply all their booth equipment, including tables, chairs and tents.
Applicants will need to put booth size on their application forms along with any other special needs they have. Food vendors must have the appropriate food service permits, and all vendors must provide a title and description of their booth for advertising.
Booths will be taken down at 6:30 p.m. after the conclusion of the Heidi Keen Classic Barley Bar Relay. Those who wish to stay set up for longer need to note that in their applications.
