Farley to serve time in Idaho prison following sentence
COLFAX – A Moscow man arrested for possessing fentanyl and methamphetamine Saturday, Aug. 5, is being sent to prison after a Friday, Sept. 8 Superior Court hearing in Colfax.
Tyson Farley, 44, was arrested in August when deputies dispatched to a welfare check in the area of Carter Road north of Oakesdale concerning a vehicle allegedly parked in the exact location all day, with the driver slumped over, past reports show.
Farley was reported as the driver and had a felony warrant for his arrest out of Latah County for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Upon further investigation, it was reported that deputies found 240 blue fentanyl pills, two balloons, one containing 34 fentanyl pills, and a clear plastic bag containing one blue fentanyl pill and methamphetamine.
In the Friday Superior Court hearing, Farley’s plea deal resolves the criminal case in Idaho.
Superior Court Judge Gary Libey accepted prosecution defense recommendations that Farley serve time in prison for a year.
