Carrie Lyle, competing in Open Barrels, heads into her second turn in the cloverleaf. She finished with a time of 21.05 seconds.
Kayla Hurl of Pullman races into her second barrel; she finished with a time of 24.08 seconds.
Header Charlie Hennigar and heeler Trace Hennigar were the second roping team to compete Saturday night, but the didn't get a time.

COLFAX – The Saturday night, Sept. 9, performance of the Palouse Empire Rodeo featured local cowboys, cowgirls and dirt bike riders.
Thousands of fans crowded into the stands to see local competitors face off in the arena.
