Colton Wildcats cross country with strong showing in Spokane meet

COLTON — Local teams in Whitman County headed down to Liberty High School in Spokane to compete in the 1B/2B South League Meet.

The meet took place Tuesday, Sept. 26, and was located in Liberty.

Boys and girls athletes ran a 5,000 meter race, with athletes from Tekoa-Rosalia, Colfax, Colton, and St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse (SJEL) competing.

On the girls side, the overall winner was Regan Thomas from St. Georges’, she finished first with a time of 22:34.81.
