13 vehicles had tires punched, cut Monday
ALBION – The Whitman County Sheriff's Office is looking for help finding the person who slashed the tires of at least 13 vehicles here early Monday morning, Oct. 7.
"The Sheriff's Office is currently investigating 13 different vehicles in Albion that had the tires either punctured or slashed early this morning," a post on the Sheriff's Office social media page said.
According to the dispatch log, the tires were reportedly slashed along East First Street and North Main Street.
A deputy responded and obtained video surveillance of a person and white pickup potentially connected to the slashings.
"We have pictures of a white vehicle and person we are looking to identify and speak with," the post said.
The post did not say the person was a suspect.
Anyone with information on the vehicle, person being sought or the slashings is asked to call deputy Bryce Nebe at 509-397-6266.
