Lauren Anderson

Lauren Anderson, beloved wife of Matthew Anderson, daughter of Terry and Susan Dean passed away peacefully on October 9th at the age of 43.

Lauren was born on June 5th, 1980, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Turpin High School in 1998 and from Bowling Green in 2005 with a Masters degree in Special Education. She taught in that field for 18 years, educating hundreds of students. Lauren was a devoted wife and mother. She was also a passionate crafter and painter. She and her husband attended many 'paint nights' and decorated their home with their work. She loved karaoke, cheesy sitcoms, and Jimmy Buffet.

Lauren was a loving and caring person who always put others before herself. She was always there for her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was especially proud of her girls, Maddy and Zoë and loved to see them grow and develop. With her husband, Matt, they made up the most important things in her life. She was also very fond of her cat, Ranger. A funeral service for Lauren was held on October 16 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Autism Speaks or the Whitman County Humane Society.
