St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse celebrates Homecoming Week

ST. JOHN –– Eagles across the county celebrate Homecoming week Oct. 6-14.

Homecoming royalty for LaCrosse included Queen Julia Guske and King Landen Miller.

Ellie Pierson was named Princess for the Junior class, and John Hone was named Prince.

For the Sophomore class, Olivia McGregor was named Princess, and Ty Pierson was named Sophomore Prince.

Freshman Princess was Chloe Waddell and Prince Brody Fleming.

LaCrosse students spent a week of activities starting Friday with an all-nighter locked in the school with chaperones to decorate the hallways by each class. The theme this year for hallway decoration was biomes. The Seniors did desert, the Juniors did Jungle, the Sophomores did ocean, and the freshmen did artic.

Dinner and breakfast were provided for the students' all-night hall decorating.

On Monday, Oct. 9, students dressed up in their Pajamas for Pajama Day and did table races in the gym at lunch.

Tuesday's dress-up theme was BBQ Dads versus Soccer Moms, and during lunch, they had a girls versus boys volleyball game. Tuesday night, there was a volleyball homecoming game in St. John.

On Wednesday, the dressing-up theme was Twin Day, and students had balloon races at lunch in the gym. Thursday's dress-up day was Barbie versus Ken, and there was a towel race at lunch.

LaCrosse students dressed in their school colors on Friday and attended the pep rally assembly at St. John High School, followed by the homecoming football game versus DeSales.

KREM 2 interviewed LaCrosse, and St. John Royalty live at 5 p.m. and did a story about LaCrosse Community Pride trying to revitalize downtown LaCrosse.

St. John Homecoming Royalty included Senior Queen Cami Larsen and King John Hergert.

Freshman Princess went to Kylee Rochoa, and Prince went to Dan McGuire.

The Sophomore class royalty included Princess Anna Roberts and Prince Conrad McGuire.

St. John Juniors Abinaya Riggle and Joe Hergert were named Princess and Prince for the Junior class.

St. John High School celebrated its dress-up days starting Monday with America Day, and the students dressed up in their pajamas on Tuesday.

The student's dress-up day was Disney-themed on Wednesday, and Thursday was Barbie-themed.

On Friday, all the St. John students celebrated with color war, with the freshman wearing yellow and gold, the sophomores wearing white, the juniors red, and the seniors black.

On Saturday, Oct. 14, students finished their homecoming week with the Homecoming dance at St. John High School.
