Three seniors recognized before match
OAKESDALE - The Oakesdale Nighthawks held their final regular season home game of the season on Thursday, Oct. 19, against the Colton Wildcats.
Oakesdale recognized three seniors on the day. They were: setter Samantha Holling, outside Payton Davis, and outside Brieyn Henley.
These three seniors have been the heart and soul of the team for the entirety of the season. The team goes as they do, and so far they have been nothing short of excellent.
The Nighthawks played their match on senior night against the Colton Wildcats, and the match ended in a sweep for Oakesdale.
Set scores in the match were: 25-14, 25-19, 25-10.
For Colton, they were led by Clair Moehrle, who had one ace, three blocks, and seven assists. Kaydee Heitstuman had three kills and two blocks for Colton.
On the Nighthawks side, they were led by their seniors.
Davis had 24 kills for Oakesdale in the match.
Holling had four aces and 31 assists, and Henley had 18 digs.
Oakesdale will host their first round of district play Monday, Oct. 30. The full schedule has not been released as of production day, so the opponent is not known for the Nighthawks at this point.
