Palouse City Council hosts final talk about police department

PALOUSE — The Palouse Task Force released a recommendation to the Palouse City Council to keep and maintain the current single-officer Police Department and promote Officer Joe Anderson to the position of Chief of Police.

The task force said that they concluded, after discussion of the pros and cons of options, weighing the financial and logistics of the options, comments, and concerns from citizens.
