Gar-Pal Vikings triumph over Timberwolves

ROSALIA - The Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves their final 2023 volleyball season home game against district opponent Garfield-Palouse Vikings.

The game took place in Tekoa and was senior night for the Timberwolves.

Tekoa-Rosalia had three seniors that were recognized before the game.

The Timberwolf seniors were: Dakota Shelton, Krista Fontenot, and Marissa Alonso.

In the match the Vikings took three sets, but allowed the Timberwolves to win one set in the match.

Set scores in the game saw the Vikings take the first, third and fourth sets: 25-10, 17-25, 25-19, 25-18.

The Vikings were led by Clare Bowechop, who had five kills and six aces in the match. Kyra Brantner added eight assists in the game for the Vikings.

With the loss, the Timberwolves end their season 5-11 overall. Last season, Teakoa-Rosalia went winless, this season was a good building season for the Timberwolves, who improved game-after-game.
