Washtucna's top musicians

Washtucna High School students Drake Gloyn-11 (French horn) and Hannah Hille-11 (Clarinet) were recently selected for the Washington State Wind Symphony. They will rehearse and perform with other top high school Washington musicians at the Washington Music Educators Association Convention in February (Yakima.) Their conductor will be Dr. Kaitlin Bove, Diablo Valley College. Drake has also been selected for the Washington Music Ambassadors and will be performing in England, France, and Germany this summer. The conductor of the Washington Music Ambassadors is Danh Pham, director of bands at Washington State University.
