TEKOA - The Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves opened their 2023-24 girls basketball season Thursday, Nov. 30, with a 57-37 loss to Valley Christian.
The Timberwolves failed to get anything going, leading to the 20-point loss.
Panther Cloie Isley dominated the court in the season-opener.
With the loss, the Timberwolves are winless in their last few seasons.
The team went 1-19 in the 2019-20 season, 0-8 in the 2021-22 season, and 0-9 in the 2022-23 basketball season.
The Timberwolves have time to regroup; their next game will be Saturday, Dec. 9.
The Timberwolves will travel to Palouse to take on the Garfield-Palouse Vikings at 6 p.m.
