Rosalia students receive book sponsorship

ROSALIA - The Rosalia Elementary School students gathered in the Rosalia gym Friday, Dec. 8, to take pictures with books that they received from Coeur d'Alene Casino.

Rosalia Superintendent Brett Baum said that the Casino picks the schools that receive book sponsorship at random, for its community outreach. "We're super appreciative," Baum said.

The school received a letter from the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort addressed to Rosalia Elementary families stating that they were excited to sponsor books for the students, and show support of how important reading is to the academic success of kids. "...
